Francia Raisa
The acting career of Raisa began in her junior year of high school, where she started modeling and doing commercials. She guest-starred in the sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa played Tamy in Lil' Romeo's 2004 music video "My Girlfriend". She was also featured as Iyaz for the song video for "So big". One month into her final year of high school, she booked one of her first roles as a lead in the film Hayden Panettiere, which she played on Bring It On: All or Nothing. She co-starred in the Nickelodeon movie Shredderman Rules, where she played Isabel the character of Isabel, as well as The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. From July 2008 until the end of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager during June 2013, she played the character of Adrian Lee. In 2009, Raisa appeared as Boo for the short movie Boo directed by David Henrie, and guest starred on USA Network TV's In Plain Sight. Raisa appeared alongside Mike "The Miz' Mizanin in 2013's Christmas Bounty. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. Between 2018 and 2022, Raisa starred on the Freeform series Grown-ish. Produced by Blackish creator Kenya Barris. The show was part of the show for its first four seasons before stepping down from the show at the end of season 4. Also, she was a part of the 2018 film on television by Freeform, Life-Size 2, opposite Tyra Banks. Raisa has joined the cast of How I Met Your Mother spinoff How I Met Your Father in May 2021. The series was launched on Hulu January 18th, 2022. In February of 2022, the series was renewed to a 20-episode second season.
